Lansbury Business Estate is a business estate in Knaphill, Surrey, letting office, light industrial and storage space. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- If you enquire through this website: your name, company, email address, phone number, the type and size of space you are looking for and your message.
- If you view space: the contact details and appointment arrangements needed to show you round.
- If you become a tenant: the contact details, references, correspondence, billing information and access or security arrangements needed to grant and manage your lease or licence.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a viewing. Your consent and our legitimate interest in responding.
- To grant and manage a lease or licence. Performance of our contract with you, and steps taken at your request before entering it.
- To keep the estate safe and secure. Our legitimate interest in site security, including CCTV coverage of the common areas.
- To meet legal duties. Health and safety, fire safety, landlord and tenant law and tax law all require records to be kept.
Who we share it with
With the professional advisers, agents and referencing services involved in granting a lease; with the contractors who maintain the buildings and the estate; with the providers who run the systems we use, including the form service that delivers messages sent from this site; and with anyone we are legally required to tell. We do not sell your data.
CCTV
The estate is covered by CCTV in the common areas and car parks for the safety and security of tenants and visitors. Recordings are held for a limited period and are released only to the police or to someone exercising their data rights.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a letting are deleted on request. Tenancy and financial records are kept for the periods required by landlord and tenant law, health and safety legislation and tax law.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email or call 01483 387 303. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
Please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
